1本事業の概要

分子ライフイノベーション棟（以下「イノベ棟」という。）は、我が国の10年後の社会的ニーズを踏まえた革新的なイノベーションを継続的に創出するための産学連携拠点を整備することを目的として、文部科学省が行う「地域資源等を活用した産学連携による国際科学イノベーション拠点整備事業」の一環として、医学部附属病院地区に新営する東京大学の新たな研究拠点です。

このイノベ棟には工学系研究科、理学系研究科、医学系研究科・医学部附属病院の研究プロジェクトが産学連携のために部局横断的な研究を行うスペースの他、大学と企業の研究ポテンシャルをフルに活用し、革新的なエネルギー・資源産業や医療システムを生み出す共同利用施設及び企業等が主体となる研究プロジェクトのレンタルラボスペースを備えており、平成28年度の稼働を予定しています。

今般、レンタルスペースの利用計画提案を募集することといたしましたので、利用希望がある場合には下記ご理解の上、お申し込み頂きますようお願い致します。

2分子ライフイノベーション棟の概要

（１）拠点概要

• ①工学系研究科、理学系研究科、医学系研究科・医学部附属病院との共同研究環境
• ②電子顕微鏡、NMR、模擬手術室、CPC、ゲノム医学センター等の共同利用施設を利用できる最先端の研究環境
• ③病院地区北東エリアの立地を活かした最先端臨床の実践および研究開発環境

• 建物総面積　：8,136m²（地下1階、地上8階建て）
• 実験・研究室：各フロア9室（詳細は別紙参照）
• 共同利用施設：電子顕微鏡、NMR、模擬手術室、CPC、ゲノム医学センター

2募集対象

東京大学と共同研究契約を締結した企業等の研究プロジェクト

3料金について

レンタルスペース利用にあたっては施設利用料と実費を徴収します。

（１）施設利用料：6万円／（m²・年）

※東京大学の教職員が研究代表者の研究プロジェクトは学内用公募要領を参照

（２）各研究プロジェクトの利用状況に応じてかかる実費

• ①研究プロジェクトが専有するスペースの光熱水料
• ②研究プロジェクトにかかる機器消耗品・保守契約費用・調製費用
• ③その他専有するスペースに必要な保有機器、消耗品費等
• ④共同利用施設の使用料

（３）総括棟のスペース利用を申請する単位は別表「分子ライフイノベーション棟　実験・研究室募集スペース一覧」に示す募集中の1区画あるいは組み合わせによる複数区画とします。（別表参照）

4研究プロジェクトの選考基準について

（１）総括棟を利用する研究プロジェクト全体に共通する基準

• ①10年後の社会ニーズとなる快適・健康長寿社会に資する産業と医療を実現するために、ライフ・エネルギー分子技術の発展とイノベーションの持続的な創出に寄与し、東京大学が社会に発信するにふさわしいプロジェクト
• ②施設利用料等の負担が可能で、自立運営の見通しがあること
• ③東京大学と企業等との共同研究であり、共同研究契約を締結すること。

（２）レンタルスペースを利用する研究プロジェクトに必要な基準

東京大学との共同研究の成果として知的財産や商標等による収益を産み出すことを目的としたプロジェクトであること

（３）その他、各部局が必要と認めた研究プロジェクト

いずれの研究主体もオープンイノベーションを意識し拠点施設における活動　において緊密な連携を取ることから、外部との関係や交流を遮断するような形での研究スペースの使用は認めない。

5選考及び採択について

（１）申請内容等の審査は、イノベ棟の執行機関である総括委員会の下に設置する研究推進委員会により行います。

（２）最終審査の結果については採否にかかわらず、申請者に通知します。

1Project Overview

The Molecular & Life Innovation Building (hereinafter referred to as the “Innovation Building”) is a new center for research at The University of Tokyo that will become operational in The University of Tokyo Hospital district as part of an “industry-university cooperation project on the development of an international scientific innovation center making use of regional resources” by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. The research center will be used to develop a base for industry and academic cooperation in order to continuously create new innovations based on the social needs of Japan ten years into the future.

The Innovation Building is scheduled to start operations in fiscal 2016 and is equipped with spaces for cross-cutting departmental research in order to facilitate industry-academic collaboration of research projects from the School of Engineering, School of Science, Graduate School of Medicine and University of Tokyo Hospital. The Innovation Building also houses joint use facilities to create innovative energy/resource industries and medical systems, as well as rented laboratory spaces for collaborative research with companies, taking full advantage of the research potential of universities and companies.

The Molecular & Life Innovation Institute is currently calling for proposals on utilization plans for rental space. Applicants that would like to use facilities in the Molecular & Life Innovation Building should submit applications with an understanding of the following points.

• A) Collaborative research environment with the School of Engineering, School of Science, Graduate School of Medicine and University of Tokyo Hospital
• B) State-of-the-art research environment in which users can take advantage of joint facilities and equipment, such as electron microscopes, NMRs, Medical Technology Evaluation Laboratory, the Cell Proccessing Banking Center, the Center for Genome Medicine, and others
• C) Cutting-edge clinical practice and R&D environment that takes advantage of the location of the northeast area of the hospital district

(3)Structure and Scale

• Total building area: 8,136m² (1 floor underground, 8 floors aboveground)
• Laboratory and research rooms: 9 rooms on each floor (see attachment for details)
• Joint use equipment and facilities: electron microscopes, NMRs, Medical Technology Evaluation Laboratory, the Cell Proccessing Banking Center, the Center for Genome Medicine, and others
• Shared space: Academic hall, shared conference room, lounge, reagent storage cabinets, and others.
